Year 5 News

Well done to our certificate winner, Esme, our special mentions and to Krsyzstof who won a book in the reading raffle.  Great job as well to all of our super spellers.  A whopping 18 children got full marks with some children getting their best scores yet.  Mr Brown has challenged us to have 20 super spellers next week - can we rise to the challenge?  Get practising and give it your best shot.  I've also challenged the children to get their Mathletics certificates this week.  We've only had one or two certificates to give out in assembly the last couple of weeks.  Not that long ago we had 10!  So far we have one ready to go but who can add to the pile?

The children have asked for another TTRS battle so here goes!  They have from now until Friday morning to get battling.  The boys won the last battle so can the girls even it out or will the boys remain triumphant?

Can you join us for Make It Morning?  Parents are invited to get crafty with us from 9-10:30 on Friday 6th December.  We hope you can make it.

Year 4 News

Yesterday, the children  enjoyed exploring the equipment set out in the hall for gymnastics. They worked with their partner to create sequences of movement that included balances, flight and rotation

Well done to Tsvetomir who was chosen to receive the weekly certificate. Tsvetomir has been working really hard in his phonics groups and his spelling his tricky words correctly in his writing. Tsvetomir is also remembering to complete all of his reading homework tasks to help him become a confident reader.

Well done to the following children who managed full marks in the spelling test. Koby, Sophie, Ignacy, Bugsy, Max, Shaya-Lei, Alfie, Oscar, Anya, Diana, Jack, Eliza and River-Lea.

Well done also to: Corey, Koby, Sophie, Harvey, Kia-Mae, Shaya-Lei, Alfie, Kaiden, Keagan, Oscar, Tillie, Anya, Ava, Diana, Eliza, River-lea and Tsvetomir who read every day this week.

Year 2 News

Well done to our shinning star this week.

What a great Christmas Make it day the children have had today. The classroom looks festive. We have a few surprises too. All the crafts the children have made will come home on the last day of this term which is the Friday 20th December. The Year 2 staff are really pleased with what the children have produced today. It has been worth all the extra hours the staff have had to put in to ensure that make it day could happen.

Have a lovely weekend. See you on Monday. Remember to read at least once over the weekend. Two new mathletics tasks have been added. Who will be in our top 3 for times tables rock stars?

Mini Models make it day!!!

A big thank you to all of the parents who joined us for our stay and play sessions! We hope you all enjoyed the time with your children creating all of our Christmas crafts!!
