Key Stage 2 Basket Ball

Well done to Logan, Will, Heidi, Alfie, Domonik, Stacey, Mia, Harley, Jamaine and Caleb who represented our school at the Basket Ball competition tonight. The team tried really hard but unfortunately we didn't make the final three team places. Model won one game and lost the other. Better luck next time... stay positive. A big thank you to those children who stepped in to make up our team last minute too. It is very much appreciated. Also a HUGE thank you to Caleb's mum and Jamaine's mum and dad who continually show their children and school support by being spectators and with transport.

7 a-side Football 20.09.2018

A big well done to our MVPS 7 a-side football team!

You were all great at the competition held at Shirebrook Academy last night. 

Eric, Corey, Alfie, Libby, Sonny, Boyd,

Caleb, Blake, Harley, Jamaine

The children were very keen too be practicing and keeping warm in between games...

It was a very windy evening but this didn't stop the children they pushed on despite it being hard work. The team went undefeated and came 'joint top of the table' on points. However, unfortunately due to our team only managing to score 4 goals throughout the competition meant that the 'goals scored' factor put us into runners up position.

I have reassured the children that this is still something to be very proud of. At MVPS we are very proud of you all! A special mention to Sonny, Libby and Caleb, in defensive positions, for their effort and performances. Well done!

Model Village Victory!

KWIK CRICKET CHAMPIONS!

Well done to these 10 children who fought their way to victory to secure a place at the district finals next Thursday at Glapwell Cricket Ground. They won by a staggering 67 runs! But next Thursday will be much tougher so we will all need to be at training on Friday after school if we are going to show them what we are made of!
