In preparation for the Year 6 SATs in May, a letter has gone home tonight regarding revision guides. These will help to prepare your child for the tests and we will be using them in school as well as for homework. Please take time to read the letter and send in the contribution towards the books on Monday. Many Thanks
Mrs Bush
Please keep reading with your child; it makes all the difference. We have had 20 children in the reading raffle this week and two winners! Quality reading should be at least 20 minutes each night in Year 6 and should be in a quiet area with no distractions, such as in their bedroom or relaxing on the sofa without the TV on. I can't stress how important reading is so keep reading Year 6 and building that imagination!
Well done to Riley Cooper and Robert Manwaring for winning the Reading Raffle and choosing a book for a prize.
Also well done to Ellie Brooks for winning our class certificate this week. This is for quality reading EVERY evening and a big improvement in spellings. Keep it up Ellie!
