During the afternoon they were busy making decorations for Spot the dog's birthday party which they have been planning as part of their English work on writing recounts. So far they have planned and written instructions to explain how to plan a party and they have been writing sentences to explain to a visiting alien all about birthday parties.
Tomorrow afternoon the children will have a small party to celebrate Spot's birthday and then they will plan and write a recount of the party for their English work.
Children can bring party clothes to wear for the party but they need to bring them in a separate bag and wear their school uniform in the morning please.
If you can help with any up to date music CDs I would be grateful if we could borrow them.
