Goodbye and Good Luck Year 6!
Well, what a super week the year 6 have had this week. Two performances of The Pied Piper of Hamelin and a spectacular Leaver's Assembly to put the icing on the cake! Many staff have commented on how polite and calm you were on the last day and there were plenty of tears, as I know most of you have fond memories of your journey through Model Village Primary.
On the last day, we enjoyed lunch together in the courtyard and our day ended with a final presentation of our Leaver's mug from Mr Brown. This year, we've included a picture of the children with their aspiration for the future and I'm sure you'll all agree that if the children work hard at Secondary School and stay focused then they all have a bright future ahead of them.
Here are a few pictures from our picnic lunch.
All that's left for me to do is wish all Year 6 the best of luck at the Academy and I'm sure, if they work hard and stay focused, they will shine like the stars that they are! It has been an absolute pleasure teaching you all this year; we've had our ups and our downs but we've come out triumphant in the end! Thank you to all you wonderful parents for your support over the year and also for the wonderful gifts and cards - it truly has been a pleasure!
I'll see all you lovely soon to be Year 7s for your SATs results on Tuesday and remember - Be the Best You Can Be!
Goodbye and Good Luck
