We have learnt all our class story Jack and the Beanstalk. Your child has come home with a story map, ask if they can tell you the story. Watch out for the FEE FI FO FUM! they can say it very loud when using the voice of the giant.
Well done to Nyla-Jae for being our class shining star this week.
We had 8 children getting full marks in their spelling and test and a few who just missed it by one mark. Spelling shed has your new spellings for this week. Let's see if we can have more children getting full marks.
Marni, Olly N and Nyla-Jae came in the top 10 of the whole school for top spellers so a huge well done to them.
Times tables rock stars this week and seen the leader board change a lot over the week for the class. Well done to Justin who was our top player, Olly N second and Nyla Jae third. Who will be in the top 3 next week?
Mathletics is now up and running correctly. I have set a few activities for the class linked to their place value work this week.
Finally, can you please let your child bring in an object that is important to them. We are using them in our Art lesson on Monday afternoon. I did forget to talk to the children about, I am sorry. If you see or have contact with parents from Year 2 can yon mention it to them, in case they haven't seen the blog.
