Year 4 Art

The children have spent the last two weeks getting creative and demonstrating their artistic skills.
As part of our science topic on sound, the children created their own sound painting sin the style of the Russian painter Wassilly Kandinsky.
This week has been art week across the school. Our artist, linked nicely with our Geography topic on Italy, as we were given the Italian artist Leonardo Da Vinci. On Monday the children carried out research on the artist and sketched his most famous painting the Mona Lisa.
The children then enjoyed painting their own portraits of the Mona Lisa.

Well done to Diana who  received the weekly certificate this week. Diana has shown great artistic flair and has produced lovely art work. 👸
