Don't forget that it's Bikeability next week. Children who have signed up will need to bring their bikes and helmets on Monday morning ready for the exciting day ahead. The forecast is good but I recommend that the children bring a spare set of school clothes too, just in case it's a wet day! Some children brought their letters back at the end of the week and therefore might be too late to join in. Bring your bikes anyway just in case there is a space available.
Unfortunately, there were only 4 super spellers this week - Tear, Lily, Sonny and Stan. There were another 10 children who were close but got the homophones precede (something that comes before) and proceed (the way forward) mixed up. These will be added to the spelling list for next week so that the children can continue to practice and get the spellings the right way around!
Please help us to improve our attendance next week. We started the year so well but our racing car in the attendance competition didn't move at all this week! Let's see if we can beat our record of 98%.
