Year 1 news

I would like to say a big thank you to  parents and carers who have spent time completing homework projects with their children. I had a lovely surprise on my return from London when I saw some of the amazing animals that have been brought in. We have a lovely collection growing which we will be able to display out side of our class room.

Riley G has made a whole family of penguins which look absolutely fabulous and entertained the class this morning by telling us his 3 penguin facts.
Oliwia has made a super 3D picture of fish - it will look fantastic on her bedroom wall!
Maya has made a giraffe out of paper and painted and Daisy has made a model of a pig.

Well done to Nathan who was chosen as the certificate winner this week.
Livia was the lucky winner this morning in the Reading Raffle. It looks like her mum may be busy in the coming weeks knitting some winter hats and scarves!
