Today, we have been outside searching for micro-habitats around the pond area. We found 4 main micro-habitats which included: the pond, the bug hotel, spider webs and the underside of rocks and wood stumps. The children made a good start identifying the names of the mini-beasts that live in these habitats but we intend to research others too. We had so much fun!
