The children have had a good first week back. We had 12 children in the reading raffle this week. Well done to Demi-Jo, Jamaine, Logan H, Brooke, Bray, Alfie, Rocco, Axel, Caleb, Ellie, Tydan and Krzysztof. The class are aiming to beat this number next week. Remember the children must read every night and it must be signed by an adult.
We have also made 99% attendance this week. The children would really like to win the film and popcorn at the end of the term. Fingers crossed for another good week.
The homework links to their learning this week. The children who are not confident with their times tables have found it difficult. Please practice them at home. They have really enjoyed using the grid method to help them with their multiplication. If you are unsure of this method ask the children to show you. I am sure they would be very willing to demonstrate their skills.
The children are looking at adventure stories. If they have any at home that they could bring in we would be very grateful.
