He often comes to school ready to tell us about something he has learnt at home. Lots of the children are enthusiastic about our space topic. Wesley astounded us all when he showed us how to use science to conduct a bit of a magic trick. Ask your children to see if they can show you how to change the direction of an arrow using only a glass of water.
Well done to Grace and Tear who got their pride stickers too.
And well done to Miley who won a book in this week's reading raffle. Remember that children need to read every day, have their reading diary signed and bring it all to school every day to be in with a chance of winning.
Pride points have been given to Eric, Lily and Grace for completing this week's Abacus game, Cloud Clash. There is another game up and running too so don't forget to log in and play Balloon Pop!
We're all looking forward to our trip to the space centre. Thanks to those of you who have returned permission slips and sent in money towards the cost of our trip. You have time next week to send the slips and money if you haven't already done so. Please ask if you have lost the letter so that I can send a new one home.
Our attendance this week wasn't as good as last week. We only reached 94%! We really need to reach 95% to get our racing car moving in the school attendance competition. Please help us get off the starting blocks next week by coming to school every day!
