I have sent home a Read, Write, Inc reading book to those children that have brought their reading book and diary to school. This book is to be kept for a whole week and it will be changed on a Thursday or Friday.
I have stuck a list in the front of the children's reading diary to date when each book has been completed and the colour band.
Please complete the activities when reading the books: speed sounds, high frequency words, comprehension questions. the idea is that the children need to be able to read these books fluently before they can change it.
Children will still take home their normal reading book and they can change this when required.
If your child has not got a new book please sent their diary to school so that I can stick the sheet in their book and their spelling list too.
