Year 3 Golden Star Awards

This week our Golden Star Award goes to Kenya. She has been working so hard in both her Maths and English work this week. She has been a great role model by focusing and not fussing when it comes to her work this week. In both her Maths and English work she has produced more. Well done!

Well done to all our children who made it into the reading raffle last week. Congratulations to Tillie -one of the lucky reading raffle winners. She was one of the lucky three children this week to have her ticket drawn from the raffle. Keep up the great work next week year 3!

YEAR 3 LET THE BATTLE COMMENCE - Times Table Rockstars
I have set a battle between girls and boys in our own class. The battle begins at 7pm tonight and runs all the way until 7pm on Sunday next week. I wonder who the winners will be. You never know there might be a little treat ready for the winning team after the battle has finished and scores are in. Good luck to both teams!

Next week, your children will be bringing home a newsletter to inform you of the learning they will be doing this half term. Look our for it - anything you can do with your children at home too related to these topics will be a great help.

After school clubs

Starting Thursday Brad will be beginning the Football Afterschool club again. This after school club is £2 per session. The club has been very popular since it started - if your child would like to try it out or begin again, there are places free. It would be great to get more keen footballers in our school. We will hope to see you there!

On Thursday year 3/4 Gymnastics club with Mr Andrews will begin 3.15pm - 4.15pm. Your child will be informed if they have been successful getting a place tomorrow/ Tuesday. We apologise if your child has been unsuccessful getting a place this time, your child will be considered when another after school club has been arranged for their year group. Many thanks.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Miss Kerry and Mrs Doyle :)
