Year 5 News

Well done to Sonny who won our certificate this week and Grace and Emanuil who had a special mention.  Lily also won a book in the reading raffle.  The children have set the target of all 30 of them reading this weekend and bringing in their signed reading diaries on Monday morning - please help us to reach this target by encouraging your child to read and making sure their diary is signed.  We'd also like to get 30 pieces of homework back on Wednesday so please make sure the sheet is completed.  A Mathletics game has been assigned to the whole class.  When they next log on, they will have to play this game before they can play any others.  Please remind them not to rush.  This game is not timed and they can take as long as they like to answer each question.  They might benefit from having a piece of paper and a pencil in front of them to make notes too as there is no way of making jottings on the screen.  For those children who enjoy playing the Abacus games, another new game has been assigned to everyone.
