This week the children have been learning about the Hindu festival Diwali which takes place at the end of October. Tillie and Bugsy were given a special mention in Friday's assembly for their decorative Rangoli patterens.
Last week, the children worked with a partner to research Hadrian's Wall and this week they used their research to write a visitor's guide. Alfie recieved the weekly certificate this week for his well-organised and informative guide. Well done Alfie.👦
Well done do Kaiden and Eliza who both used Spelling Shed, Mathletics and Times Table Rock Stars at home this week.😊
Well done to Sophie, Tsvetomir, Tyler, River-Lea, Kenya, Eliza, Keagan, Shaya-Lei, Anya, Max and Ava who have read each day and were entered in to the weekly Reading Raffle. 👍
There are still may children who are not reading regularly at home or bringing their reading diaries to school. Please spend time at home listening to children read and hopefully we shall have some more names to enter the raffle on Friday.
Weekly spelling scores are improving.
This week the following children achieved full marks: River-Lea, Eliza, Jack, Diana, Ava, Anya, Alix, Shaya-Lei, Max, Bugsy, Ignancy, Sophie, Koby and Jake.😊
Well done to Tsvetomir who showed a big improvement this week.👍
