This week 6 children received their Mathletics certificates. So far this week we only have Ruby, Brooke and Ellie who are in line to get their certificates on Monday. Come on Year 5 - surely we can beat 6!
Tydan won our certificate for his fabulous story and Rocco and Krzysztof got a special mention.
Lexie won in the reading raffle! We entered 14 children into the raffle this week. There are lots of children who keep leaving their reading diary at home so I hope they make an extra effort to read each day and bring their diary to school too. You've go to be in it to win it!
This week we had 8 children with 10 out of 10 in the spelling test. Only 12 children have played on Spelling Shed this week. Children have until Monday to earn their Mathletics certificates and also until Monday to play on TTRS, Mathletics and Spelling Shed in order to get their smiley AND improve their Maths and spelling scores.
The children have worked really hard on their natural disasters Power Point presentations and some groups were ready to present them to the class. We were all really impressed with the range of skills the groups showed and how much they taught us. We can't wait for the other groups to finish and present theirs next week.
