Year 4 News

This week the children have been learning about negative numbers in Maths and counting in multiples of 25. During our R.E lessons, we have been learning about the Hindu festival Holi. the children wrote their own versions of the Story Prahlad and Holika.
The children have also been locating examples of Roman settlements using maps of England as our History topic on the Romans.

Well done to Oscar who received the weekly certificate today. Oscar showed excellent skill and flair when making his Roman pot.👱

Special mentions were given to Max for showing great effort when completing his sentences for his spelling homework. He always writes more sentences than necessary and always adds detail.👦
Kia-Mae, Anya, Sophie and Kenya were also given a special mention in today's assembly for working co-operatively togeteher when completing their Roman settlement activity.

Well done to: Jack, Diana, Ava, Shay-Lei, Max, Kia-Mae and Sophie who all achieved full marks in their spelling test today.😊

A big THANKYOU to: Sophie, Kia-Mae, Tyler, Max, Shaya-Lei, Keagan, Tillie, Anya, Ava, Eliza, River-Lea and Tsvetomir who have all read every day. 😀
