Mini Models News!

We are reading the book, 'Old Macdonald had a farm' We have been sorting the farm animals using the picture cards. We used the coloured animals to sort by colour and played the farm game on the smart board.

We have changed some of the areas around in Mini Models and our children have enjoyed accessing our new larger home corner.

Lynn from Shirebrook library came to share some stories with us and told us all about what happens in the library, we really enjoyed listening to and joining in with the new stories. Lynn also very kindly bought us a new book bag which includes new books, CD, parent information and a card game. These are for you to keep at home. 

I have sent home some information about the libraries opening times and how to get a library card - I know lots of the children wanted to visit Lynn at the library!

I was so impressed with how well the children could walk with a bean bag balanced on their head outside!!

Next week we will be learning about colour to celebrate Diwali and baking some biscuits too!
