Look at all the children who got full marks on this week's spelling test.

And our special mentions and star of the week.

Did you hear that we won the attendance star in the week before the holidays?  We didn't make it this week but let's have a go for next week!

We had 13 children in the reading raffle yesterday and Lilly won one of the prizes.  20 children read on Friday so I'm hoping we'll have many more children in the raffle next week.

This week's Mathletics homework focusses on addition and subtraction.  I've reminded the children that having a piece of paper and a pencil to hand might be useful!  There are two activities to complete so get started Year 5!  Missy, Kadie, Archie, Krzysztof, Brooke and Ellie have already completed their tasks.  Who else will catch them?  Last week, only Ellie got her Mathletics certificate and so far this week we have only Krzysztof - surely some more children can join them!

Don't forget to get on Spelling Shed and TTRS too!

This week we've been sewing.  Some of the children clearly have some experience with this and some have found it very challenging.  It's great to see how the children persevere and help each other out.

And a few belated shots from our Bikeability sessions before half term.  I hope the children have been putting their new skills and knowledge to good use to ride their bikes safely.

Next week...
  • It's Anti-Bullying week.  We are asking children to bring an odd sock to make a sock puppet on Tuesday.
  • It's Children in Need.  We will be celebrating on Thursday at Model Village.
  • There will be an INSET day on Friday so school is closed to children.
Please look out for the letters that have been sent home for all the details that you need to know!
