Nursery FS1 Update 😊

We have had a great week, full of variety like mark-making, making up stories and marching to the 'Grand Old Duke of York'. The children are really good at trying to re-tell our story map all the way to the end now. Therefore a personal copy of our version of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' has now been sent home for children to share with their families. In our Maths learning this week we have been trying to compare quantities of objects and match quantities to numerals. The children have also been practising this on a Maths IWB game involving moving biscuits onto a plate and finding the matching numeral.

Our Shining Stars this week have been Kacper and Alan. Both boys are gradually growing in confidence and enjoy exploring many different activities with their close friends. Kacper is trying to  repeat names of objects and a few words key words from stories. Alan is getting much better at listening and following instructions. He is also enjoying to play 'Pom Pom' picking up games with large tweezers. A big thank you to Alan's Mum who was able to come into School for a stay and play session this week. This enabled her to see Alan joining in with an 'initial' sound object finding Phase 1 Letters and Sounds game.
