Nursery F1 update ⭐

We have had a very productive week at School with our children starting to learn our new story map 'Old Mac's Farm'. We have started looking deeper into the different settings of where the farm animals live on a farm and learning our new key words. The children are really enjoying the different farm inspired stories, information books and puppets in the opened up reading area as well.
⭐ Our Shining Stars this week in the morning class were Ariele and Leela. Ariele has really enjoyed playing with our Maths area this week, arranging and counting with pigs and Numicon. Leela has show cased lots of skills this week within her small group work, especially shining at recognising and locating shapes in the environment. Thank you to Leela's Dad who was able to come for most of the morning on a 'Stay and Play' visit this week, Leela was very proud to show her Dad what she was doing which was lovely to see.
⭐Our Shining Stars in the afternoon class this week were Olivia and Willow. They are both settling in very well to School routine and are both willing to participate in whole class singing and rhyme time. Olivia has spent a lot of time exploring mark-making and drawing this week and Willow really enjoyed creating a structure playing around with the shapes of wooden blocks. Parents of new starters will be invited next time around.
Well done everyone, Mrs Edwardson 👩
