We hope that everyone has had a great holiday and that you are looking forward to coming back to see us... we can't wait to hear about all the fun you have had this Summer.
Over the next couple of days, if anyone has any pictures at home they would like to bring into school to show and tell about what you have been up to that would be great! Also if anyone has any holiday pictures, please bring them in as they would be of great value for our topic work.
This term our topic will be: 'What a Wonderful World. The Autumn term 1 Newsletter that is being sent out this week will give more details about the curriculum coverage for the upcoming term.
PE days for Autumn Term 1 will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please make sure your child/ children have suitable kit in school, including: a school green top, shorts/joggers, trainers/ plimsolls.
On Wednesday 13th September it is 'Roald Dahl Day' - your child/ children will be invited to dress up as a famous Roald Dahl book character. Perhaps you fancy dressing up as an Umpa Lumpa? Willy Wonka? Matilda? A witch? A peach? Or fantastic Mr Fox? There are endless fantastic characters to consider. As always we can't wait to see the costumes.
We will look forward to seeing you tomorrow, Wednesday 6th September.
