A big well done and congratulations to Oscar, he was our certificate winner last week. He has been working extremely hard with both his reading and writing since coming back after Christmas. Also he was pulled out as an all week reader in our school reading raffle. Well done!
Congratulations to:
Sophie for achieving 100 pride points last week.
Koby and Kia for achieving 50 pride points last week.
Diana for achieving 25 pride points last week.
This week in English lessons we will continue to use causal conjunctions to join two parts of a sentence together as part of our Explanation writing. In Maths we will be having more practice creating our own number lines to find the difference between two numbers. In topic we will continue to learn about China and further develop our role play area and displays.
On Monday, we will welcome a new boy to our class: Kayden. The children are very excited to get to know Kayden and be a good friend to him at Model Village.
Also on Monday (in the afternoon) year 2 will be offsite and will be going to the Academy to take part in an 'Infant Agility' competition. Please remember to bring some sports trousers (joggers or trackies,) as well as a coat, so that the children are warm enough whilst walking up to the Academy. We are hoping to be back for home time, if not it will be very close to quarter past 3.
Look out for photographs coming on the BLOG tomorrow night.
We are looking forward to seeing more 'China Projects' coming into school this week so that we can celebrate them.
Miss Kerry and Mrs Elliott :)
