Last week, we were really impressed with the children's attitude towards reading- both in school and at home. Some children, who had not read at home, volunteered to read at lunchtime with either myself (Mrs Manders), Miss Richardson or Mrs Hallam. Well done Year 4!
Let's keep aiming to read at home and then any reading we do in school is a bonus. We will keep hearing children read during lunchtime, just for 5-10 minutes, as they enjoy it and we love to listen and help the children too.
Remember, reading is enjoyable so make sure you select a suitable book which you will enjoy and understand as well.
