This week's certificate winner was Elisha. Elisha has been working hard to improve her writing. She has been adding detail into her work by using adjectives and adverbs. Well done Elisha keep up the 'I can do it' attitude!
This week we have been revising our addition and subtraction methods in maths. We have had a look at some tricky problem solving and we are really pleased with the explanations the children were having with their partners. We will keep practising these problem solving skills as we have introduced a problem of the day at the end of every maths lesson (it even has it's own jingle). As well as that, we even found time to hold our very own Greek Olympics! Unfortunately, I can't share any photos with you this week as my camera was not working! Well done to Mrs Bradbury's group, who were the overall winners!
I'm looking forward to meeting with a lot of you next week in parent's evening. If you would still like an appointment I have some left on Wednesday.
