A big well done to our MVPS 7 a-side football team!
You were all great at the competition held at Shirebrook Academy last night.
Eric, Corey, Alfie, Libby, Sonny, Boyd,
Caleb, Blake, Harley, Jamaine
The children were very keen too be practicing and keeping warm in between games...
It was a very windy evening but this didn't stop the children they pushed on despite it being hard work. The team went undefeated and came 'joint top of the table' on points. However, unfortunately due to our team only managing to score 4 goals throughout the competition meant that the 'goals scored' factor put us into runners up position.
I have reassured the children that this is still something to be very proud of. At MVPS we are very proud of you all! A special mention to Sonny, Libby and Caleb, in defensive positions, for their effort and performances. Well done!
