The Year 2 Roald Dahl character costumes were fantastic on Thursday. We had many from different stories, thank you for making so much effort and for those who contributed £1. The monies raised will be going towards new reading materials for school. Thanks again!
A big well done to children in year 2 who last week, read daily, and made it into the reading raffle. 14 children managed it last week, which was an improvement on the week before. Keep it up! Let's see if we can improve again next week. :) Mrs Elliot and I know you can do it!
Our weekly certificate was awarded to Corban last week. We have been very impressed by how he has presented himself and been ready to learn at school since the beginning of year 2. Well done, keep up the good work!
A few reminders for next week:
Wednesday - Spelling test.
A copy of your child's spellings can be found in their homework log (purple book.)
Wednesday and Thursday - PE sessions.
Also can parents please ensure that children have a PE kit in school - including suitable footwear for PE days please.
