Welcome Year 2...

Welcome back Year 2! :)

We hope that you have had a fantastic Summer! We have heard lots of lovely stories from the children and what they have got up to.

Many thanks to the children that have returned their homework and well done for your outcomes!

Each class this year will be named after an author, in attempt to raise the profile of reading across school. We will also be monitoring the number of times and the number of book your child reads at home for them to be celebrated in 'Pride Assembly.' Today the children have received new reading diaries and have been given a reading books to match their reading ability. Year 1 and 2 children will be receiving new book bags, free of charge, however we are still waiting for them to arrive so the children will get them as soon as they are available.

Today our class have elected two members to represent our class for School Council. This term Sonny and Miya have been elected - I am sure they will do a fantastic job!
