This week, during our Music lesson with Miss Donohoe, we began to investigate Ostinato. As a starting point, we used the names of characters from Harry Potter to create our own repeating phrases and rhythms. Once we had decided on our individual rhythms, we put them together to create a layered Ostinato. See if your child can tell you what Ostinato means!

Our next step is to add instruments to reflect each Harry Potter name.
