Well done Year 2 we have lift off... this week the children in our class have achieved 2 points for our attendance being 98% this week. It has been the best week yet, lets hope we can keep it up!
This week Kenya, River-Lea, Oscar, Max, Sophie and Eliza made it into the Reading Raffle for reading every night, this week, at home.
Congratulations to River-Lea who had her ticket drawn out so she could choose a book to take home and keep.
River-Lea chose 'The minions banana book' which is a book of pictures to use to make up her own stories. Enjoy!
Well done Koby, you were chosen to be our class certificate winner this week. Your handwriting has been fantastic so far in year 2, and you have begun to use conjunctions and adverbs in your sentences to make them more interesting. I hope I get to see this in your independent writing next week.
This morning we had a few children attend our morning class library service, but we would like to see more of you. This is just a reminder that on Fridays the year 2 classroom will be open just to year 2's from 8.30am to select a library book they can then take home to share.
