In the Year 2 classroom we have recreated a traditional sweet shop called 'The Grubber.' Our inspiration came from one of Roald Dahl's books, 'The Giraffe, the Pelly and Me.' On Roald Dahl day the children designed their own type of sweet to sell in our pretend shop. the children also wrote sentences explaining what effect their sweet would have on any child that dares to try one!
