Just a gentle reminder to encourage your child/ children to practice their weekly spellings at home for a short time each night. This will really help them retain the spelling rules to apply them correctly in their writing. Today, on the whole, the children didn't perform as well as we would have liked them to in their spelling test. Therefore we have decided to give all the children the same spellings for next week too. The same spellings will be sent home in your child/ children's reading and homework diary for them to practice for a spelling test on 26th September.
